Downwind Run

Time comes and anchor up and off for Papua New Guinea. Twin staysails poled out and pulled us along for days nicely across the Coral Sea. What a historic area during WW II. Our last three days would pipe up and we reduced to only a single small storm jib in thirty knot breeze with four metre swells and it became an issue to slow down abit. Was grand entertainment to have the swell run underneath and bottom out looking upwards at the next wave advancing . We had a few finally manage to join us in the cockpit but not many. All in all a good passage.
