  1. Hi,
I was the third owner of JAGA II and named her after my wood JAGA (also a 38′ Ingrid) that I spent 7 years restoring. Later I purchased JAGA II (I renamed her JAGA II with the blessings of the original owners) and sailed her through the South Pacific visiting 11 different countries. After living aboard for 15 years I sold her in New Zealand prior to returning to the US. Prior to departing the US on JAGA II in 1999 I spent two years completely rebuilding her and as a result I know every detail about her including her history prior to my purchasing her. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
It warms my sailing heart of hearts to know she is cruising again. I will follow your blog and wish you as many great and safe adventures as I had while aboard JAGA II. She has real soul.
Fair Winds To Far Away Places,
    David H Dickinson
